O Lord Caitanya, Your lotus feet are worshiped by the devoted Цiva and other demigods. You are splendidly manifested in the best of cities, Jagannдtha Purх. For the surrendered devotees You are a desire tree. O Цacхnandana, O Mukunda, please be merciful to this great fool.

bhavantam uru-buddhayo na khalu sдrvabhaumдdayaш

paro bhavatu tatra kaш paфu-rato namas te paraч

Neither the great incarnations [headed by Daффatreya and Vyдsadeva] nor the great intellectuals, headed by Sдrvabhauma Bhaффдcдrya, can properly describe You. Who is more intelligent than You? I offer my respectful obeisances unto You. O Цacхnandana, O Mukunda, please be merciful to this great fool.

The Upaniъads did not reveal the jewel of pure devotional service, nor did the great incarnations describe it, yet You have now cast this priceless jewel into this world from the nectar ocean. O Цacхnandana, O Mukunda, please be merciful to this great fool.

O Lord whose dancing in ecstatic love filled Цiva with wonder, O Lord who revealed to the surrendered devotees the nectar of pure devotion, O Lord who cannot be understood by the proud egoists, O Цacхnandana, O Mukunda, please be merciful to this great fool.

bhavanti bhuvi ye narдш kalita-duъkulotpattayas

tvam uddharasi tдn api pracura-cдru-kдruйyataш

iti pramuditдntaraш цaraйam дцritas tvдm ahaч

цacх-suta mayi prabho kuru mukunda mande kеpдm

bhavanti≈are; bhuvi≈on the earth; ye≈who; narдш≈people; kalita-duъkulotpattayaш≈born in impious families; tvam≈You; uddharasi≈lift; tдn≈them; api≈also; pracura-cдru-kдruйyataш≈out of great mercy; iti≈thus; pramuditдntaraш≈jubilant at heart; цaraйam≈shelter; дцritaш≈taken shelter; tvдm≈of You; aham≈I.

Out of Your great and splendid mercy You deliver even the low-born and sinful. This has made me very happy at heart, and thus I take shelter of You. O Цacхnandana, O Mukunda, please be merciful to this great fool.

prasaкga-janitдkhila-praйata-bhекga-raкgotkara

samasta-jana-maкgala-prabhava-nдma-ratnдmbudhe

mukha≈face; ambuja≈lotus; pariskhalat≈trickling; mеdula≈sweet; vдk≈words; madhщlх-rasa≈nectar; prasaкga≈attachment; janita≈born; akhila≈all; praйata≈bowed; bhекga≈of the bees; raкga-utkara≈great wonder; samasta≈all; jana≈people; maкgala≈auspiciousness; prabhava≈source; nдma≈of the holy names; ratna≈of jewels; ambudhe≈ocean.

You delight the bumblebees of Your surrendered devotees with the honey of the words trickling from Your lotus mouth. You are an ocean of the jewels of the holy names, which are auspicious for all people. O Цacхnandana, O Mukunda, please be merciful to this great fool.

smita-stabaka-sundarдdhara viцaкkaфoras-taфa

bhujoddhata-bhujaкgama-prabha manoja-koфi-dyute

O moon-faced Lord, O Lord with glistening, wide-awake lotus-eyes, O Lord whose smile is a cluster of flowers, O Lord whose lips are handsome, O Lord whose chest is broad, O Lord whose arms are like two glorious snakes, O Lord as splendid as millions of Cupids, O Цacхnandana, O Mukunda, please be merciful to this great fool.

na doъa-lava-darцitд vividha-doъa-pщrйe ▓pi te

ataш pravaйayд dhiyд kеpaйa-vatsala tvдч bhaje

цacх-suta mayi prabho kuru mukunda mande kеpдm

ahaч≈I; kanaka≈golden; ketukх-kusuma≈splendor; gaura≈fair; duъфaш≈wicked; kъitau≈on this earth; na≈not; doъa-lava-darцitд≈seeing a small fault; vividha-doъa-pщrйe≈in that which is full of fault; api≈even; te≈of You; ataш≈then; pravaйayд≈humble; dhiyд≈with a heart; kеpaйa-vatsala≈O You who are so affectionate to the poor; tvдm≈You; bhaje≈I worship.

O Lord as splendid as a golden ketakх flower, I am the most wicked person in the world. Still, even if a person is filled with a great host of faults, You do not see the slightest fault in him. For this reason, O Lord who is kind to the fallen, I worship You with a humble heart. O Цacхnandana, O Mukunda, please be merciful to this great fool.

idaч dharaйi-maйпalotsava bhavat-padдкkeъu ye

niviъфa-manaso narдш paripaфhanti padyдъфakam

цacх-hеdaya-nandana prakaфa-kхrti-candra prabho

nija-praйaya-nirbharaч vitara deva tebhyaш цubham

idaч≈this; dharaйi-maйпala≈of the earth; utsava≈O festival of happiness; bhavat-padдкkeъu≈the marks of Your feet; ye≈who; niviъфa-manaso≈hearts have entered; narдш≈persons; paripaфhanti≈read; padyдъфakam≈these eight verses; цacх-hеdaya-nandana≈O joy of the heart of Цacх; prakaфa-kхrti-candra≈O moon of glory; prabho≈O Lord.

O festival of happiness for this world, O pleasure of the heart of Цacх, O splendid moon of glory, O Supreme Personality of Godhead, please grant auspicious love for You to those persons who, their hearts rapt in meditation on Your footprints, read these eight verses.
